We’re seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead modernization and cloud transformation initiatives across large-scale enterprise systems.
This role will guide the architecture of mission-critical platforms—integrating applications such as Salesforce, Appian, and Azure—and ensuring alignment with business objectives, security frameworks, and long-term IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, publish, and maintain enterprise reference architectures and technology standards.
- Lead modernization planning and migration of legacy systems to cloud-native or hybrid architectures.
- Architect and oversee integrations with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Appian, and Azure.
- Design secure, scalable cloud solutions aligned with federal and Commonwealth frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT leadership, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with business goals.
- Define and promote data interoperability strategies across multiple systems while maintaining compliance with data protection and retention policies.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Develop technology roadmaps and ensure they align with strategic priorities and citizen service objectives.
- Support architecture governance, reviewing and validating solution architectures for policy compliance.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and 6+ years of professional IT experience, or 10+ years of equivalent IT experience.
- Proven experience in:
- Application development and modernization
- Enterprise reference architecture and technology standards
- API design and secure system integrations
- Cloud solution architecture (preferably Azure)
- Developing and executing technology roadmaps
- Translating complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as:
- TOGAF 9.x
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
- Experience in state or federal government environments.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms (especially Appian) and Salesforce.
- Understanding of geospatial systems or regulatory data standards.

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
